Beaches on Djursland

Gjerrild Nordstrand is a child friendly beach and it's one of the best places to see migrating raptors.

Følle Beach is child friendly with low tide and calm water.

The fine sandy beach, with a low water depth, is designated Denmark's second best beach. Grenaa Beach consists of two beaches, both of which are worth a visit.

The beach is generally very child and disability friendly.

Boeslum Beach has a fine white sand beach and beautiful clear water, which gets deep quite quickly, but nevertheless is a good family beach.

Dråby Beach offers clean water, the beach faces east and is therefore sheltered by the prevailing west wind.

The beach at Skødshoved offers many opportunities for swimmers.

Bønnerup Beach has a lot of life in the summer months and is associated with Bønnerup Harbour. 

Fjellerup Beach has a Blue Flag Station with play opportunities. It is a fine sandy beach with low water depth.

On the way to St. Sjørup Beach you pass 'Paradise', which is a beautiful nature area. The area is fenced, but a small path going down to the water

Lystrup Strand is ideal for families who want to relax in peaceful and beautiful natural surroundings.

Rygårde Beach is a good place for a familytrip, with tables and benches and a child friendly beach. 

Begtrup Vig and beach is a child-friendly beach in Djursland close to Helgenæs with shallow water and white sandy beach. The shallow water heats up quickly on a hot summer day, a great place for the whole family.

Dragsmur Beach has extremely clean water but it gets deep quickly and it's suitable for snorkeling amongst the rocks and seaweed.
