The Silk Route through Silkeborg - 12 km
The Silk Route Silkeruten is a 12 km path encircling the central part of Silkeborg, along which you will see lovely scenery and cultural experiences. Walking along Silkeruten gives you a broad glimpse of what the Silkeborg woodlands have to offer.

Trækstien – part of the Gudenå trail between Silkeborg and Randers
The Trækstien trail forms part of the Gudenåstien route and is the perfect hiking trail for anyone who dreams of getting up close to nature. Stretching over 70 kilometres, the trail winds its way from Silkeborg to Randers, offering unique experiences of nature through the charming countryside of river valleys, forests and open fields.

Odden forest and park - 2 km
"The Odden" is a forest and park area that is perfect for a cozy hike in the Søhøjlandet area by the Silkeborg Langsø lake. The area has always been one of the favorite recreational areas of the people of Silkeborg.

Gudenådalens Museum
The museum "Gudenådalens Museum" (Gudenå river valley museum) is situated in town Bjerringbro, about 25 km south from Viborg. It is the region's historical museum with a permanent exhibition on farming, handicrafts and the Viking Age, including the Mammen axe and rune stone park.

Enjoy this cozy bike ride along the Gudenå River from Randers to Gl. Rye. The route takes you through beautiful scenery and charming valleys.

Cycling route: From the Gudenå to a bathing lake
This 44.3 km long bike ride goes along the Gudenå along the cycle path between Randers and Langå. The trip also goes to Fussingø Castle, where you can take a swim from the bathing bridge in Fussing Lake. The Gudenå is 158 km and is the longest river in Denmark.

Cycling route: Around the Randers Fjord
This tour leads all the way around Randers Fjord. It is possible to shorten the trip by crossing the fjord with the ferry at Mellerup-Voer. Length of the route: 85 km / 48.4 km.

Cycling route: Children's route around Randers
Take the whole family on a cosy and adventurous bike ride! This 18.1 km route is tailor-made for children and takes you in a big, gentle arc around Randers - far from traffic and close to nature. Along the way you can enjoy green areas, look for animals and take breaks in the open air.

Are you ready to feel your heart rate rise and your legs work? Then take a bike ride in the hilly landscape south of Randers, where beautiful views and serious climbs go hand in hand. This route gives you a real taste of the elevation changes that make cycling in East Jutland both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

Cycling route: Around the remains of the Gudenådelta
Just before the expiration in Randers Fjord, the Gudenå formed a delta for millennia. This tour leads all the way around the old delta and along the way there is the opportunity to study the bird and wildlife from two bird towers.

Almindsø Lake – Certified Family Trail - 4 km
The hiking trail around Almindsø is 4 kilometres long and is one of the few trails in Denmark that is certified as a Family Trail by the Danish Hiking Association. Here you are guaranteed a beautiful walk in a varied forest area with views of the lake most of the way round.
