Ørnsø Fiskesø is located in a scenic area, close to the center of Silkeborg. The lake has an area of approx. 7,000 m2, and a water depth of 5 meters - which is therefore suitable for fly fishing.

Fishing in Brassø

Brassø is part of the Silkeborg Lakes, through which the Gudenå River also flows. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities where you can catch pike, perch and bream. As the lake is surrounded by forest, it is most convenient to fish from a boat.

Silkeborg Langsø is located in the centre of Silkeborg. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and lively town life.

Fishing in Randers Fjord Inlet

Whether you prefer fishing from a boat or from the shore, Randers Fjord inlet has ample opportunities to catch fish and enjoy nature. The rather long transition from the fresh water of the Gudenåen waterway system to the salty water of the inlet makes for a great place to catch a plethora of fish species who all have great living conditions there.

The different sections of Gudenåen have varying characteristics. The wider and deeper sections are ideal for pike and larger fish, while the more flowing and turbid areas are perfect for trout and perch. You can choose to fish from the shore or take a boat out on the water to explore the more secluded spots.

Note: Fishing in Gudenåen usually requires a valid fishing quota and licence, so be sure to check the current rules and regulations before heading out. It's also a good idea to bring the right equipment, including rods, lines and bait suitable for the species of fish you're looking to catch.

Tollundgaard Put and Take

Tollundgaard Put-and-Take is one of Denmark’s oldest angling lakes. The angling lake was opened in 1982 in the existing Lake Tollund sø. The lake has since been expanded to around 60,000 m². The lake’s long history as an angling lake means that the vegetation has had time to grow up around it and today it is fringed by woodland, which provides shelter.
