Borre Lake, which beautifully lies near the nearby Brassø and Julsø, is one of the hidden treasures for anglers in Denmark. This scenic aquatic area is known for its rich population of fish and the countless fishing experiences it offers.

Ørnsø Fiskesø

Ørnsø Fiskesø is located in a scenic area, close to the center of Silkeborg. The lake has an area of approx. 7,000 m2, and a water depth of 5 meters - which is therefore suitable for fly fishing.

Fishing in Brassø

Brassø is part of the Silkeborg Lakes, through which the Gudenå River also flows. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities where you can catch pike, perch and bream. As the lake is surrounded by forest, it is most convenient to fish from a boat.

Tollundgaard Put and Take

Tollundgaard Put-and-Take is one of Denmark’s oldest angling lakes. The angling lake was opened in 1982 in the existing Lake Tollund sø. The lake has since been expanded to around 60,000 m². The lake’s long history as an angling lake means that the vegetation has had time to grow up around it and today it is fringed by woodland, which provides shelter.
