Tropical Houses at the Botanical Garden in Aarhus
In the Tropical Houses at the Botanical Gardens in Aarhus, you will experience a green world under one roof. Here you can explore four climate zones with plants from all over the world, learn about biodiversity and enjoy a break in the café's green surroundings.

Marselisborg Deer Park in Aarhus
South of the Aarhus city, in the Thors woods which are part of the larger Marselisborg-Moesgaard forest, lies the Deer Park. The area houses a wonderful population of sika and fallow deer which you can get really close-up to. The wild boars live in their own enclosure.

Årslev Lake
Take a walk round the Årslev Engsø lake and enjoy how the frogs are leaping and hear them croake. You may catch toads in the lake, or climb one of the bird-watching towers and watch the many birds nesting in the reeds.

Ørnereden
In Marselisborg Forest, south of Aarhus, you will find a covered area with tables and benches where you and your family can sit down and enjoy a meal from the nearby kiosk. Outside the kiosk's opening hours, you can also enjoy your own packed food at the location.
