Royal Run Randers
Experience the Royal Run, where the Danish king meets the Danish people informally, in trainers and for everyone – you just need to register in advance. And with the Gudenåen river and Randers Fjord as a backdrop, it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience, whether you are participating or watching this major event.
Royal Run
On Monday, 25 May 2026, Randers will be the centre of Denmark's royal fitness event, the Royal Run, where you can also participate and choose your own pace and distance. There are three routes to choose from: 10 km, 5 km or the short One Mile at 1.6 km. For more information about the race in Randers, the routes and registration, please visit the Royal Run website.
A very special part of the Royal Run is that His Majesty King Frederik and members of the royal family will be participating in the various host cities, including Randers. Here you can experience a different and relaxed atmosphere – where even royalty put on their running shoes and work up a sweat.
A race for everyone
The Royal Run is for everyone – from children and families to beginners and experienced runners. It's not just about setting a personal record, but about the joy of moving together and being part of a big, festive day.
