The North Side music festival is located within walking distance from the city center and there are always many activities along the way to NorthSide. The festival is fairly new having started in 2010. Ever since the festival has grown more and more popular amongst people in Scandinavia and now attracts people from all over Europe.
NorthSide is an urban festival and every year you can try something new on both the music and food scene.
The festival offers a wide array of Danish and International artists and is recognised as an innovative festival which also focuses on sustainability. The festival is situated in the centre of Aarhus. It is not possible to sleep at the festival but the city offers plenty of accommodation.

You can also hear Tyler The Creator, the heavy rock band A Perfect Circle, the British punk duo Sleaford Mods and the Norwegian singer Aurora known for her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend.
This summer, the Icelandic icon Björk will play her first concert in Aarhus in 25 years.

In 2017 the festival was sold out and you could hear artists like Radiohead, Mø, Phlake, Tina Dickow, Bastille and James Blake.
