Explore the newly developed area Aarhus Ø where you will find the iconic building 'Isbjerget' or jump into the sea at the new ‘Harbour Bath’ or at one of the city’s beaches.

To the north of the city, you will find ‘Den Permanente’ beach, where locals love to hang out on a summers’ day and to the south of the city, you will find wonderful beaches at Tangkrogen, Ballehage and Moesgaard, an area that is also great for a walk and a closer look at the popular Infinite Bridge.

Only 30 minutes from Aarhus unfolds the stunning Lake-Highlands between Silkeborg and Skanderborg along Denmark’s longest stream Gudenåen (158 km) and the lakes surrounding one of the highest locations in the country, Himmelbjerget – The Sky Mountain (147 m).
