Art in Nature – The Forgotten Giant Trolls
Around the Aarhus Region, you may be lucky enough to find hidden troll sculptures that each tell a story of their own. Four giant trolls have gone into hiding in the area and it is up to you if you can find them with whatever means and leads you have.
The Harbor Bath in Aarhus is designed by the famous Danish architect Bjarke Ingels Group BIG. The triangular floating complex comprises a rectangular 50-metre-long swimming pool, a circular diving pool, square children’s pools and two saunas.
Are you a keen user of outdoor activities or are you simply looking to become better at spending time out in the wild? Then come to Denmark’s Outdoor Festival in Silkeborg and try, see, hear and feel the outdoor life.
Mols Bjerge National Park in Denmark offers a fantastic and varied nature consisting of a large part of the Danish nature types, but also some of Denmark's rarest nature.
Rent a dresine, a rail push trolley, from Djursland for Fuld Damp and have a ride on the old railway track between Allingåbro and Randers for a total length of 16 km. Each railbike can accommodate up to 4 people.
Join us for a Wednesday sailing trip on the Solvej solar-powered boat on Lake Tange – and discover this beautiful area from the water. The route takes you past the Indkøbskanalen, Tange town and Paradiset, amongst other places.
Sønæs, by Søndersø in Viborg, is a town park, a water landscape and a climate adaptation project all in one. Explore the footpaths, discover the treatment pond and find a spot for breaks, play and activities by the lake.
