When travelling by public transport in and around Aarhus, it is important to remember that you must always buy your ticket in advance - BEFORE you travel.

Midttrafik live
On Midttrafik's Live map, you can see where your bus is right now and follow the bus until it arrives at your stop. You can also find bus stops and see expected departure times and any traffic information for the buses.

By bike
The bicycle is also a great means of transport. In Aarhus we have short distances, which makes it incredibly easy to get around Aarhus by bike. You can also take a ride on Kulturringen 'Culture by Bike' and experience the beautiful nature in the Lake District Søhøjlandet, Djursland and Favrskov. Or rent a bike and try some of the many cycling tours and routes throughout the Aarhus Region.
