Sightseeing by train though Viborg

The ‘Folkebladstoget’ is a charming little train that winds its way through the quaint streets of Viborg. Along the way, you’ll get a good overview of the shopping, sights and historic city centre. 

Practical information

Summer season

• The train runs daily from Hjultorvet at 13:00, 14:15, 15:15 and 16:15
• The train runs daily from Borgvold at 13:30, 14:40, 15:45 and 16:45
• The journey takes approx. one hour.
• From 1 July to 15 August, the 14.15 train journey can be combined with a boat trip on the Margrethe I.

Halloween

• The train runs on 2 October in the pedestrianised streets from 15.00 – 21.00.

Autumn half-term

• Friday 9 October – Saturday 17 October
• Weekdays: 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm
• Saturdays: 10.00 am – 2.00 pm
