Royal Run is an annual fun run in Denmark, first held in 2018 as part of the celebration of King Frederik's 50th birthday. The race is open to all ages and levels and participants can choose between different distances, typically 1 mile (about 1.6 km), 5 km and 10 km. Royal Run is organized in several Danish cities simultaneously. The purpose of Royal Run is to promote community and exercise in an informal and inclusive way, where the focus is on participation rather than performance.
