Five Nordic landscapes at Søndersø

Nordisk Park is situated on the eastern shore of Søndersø in Viborg. The park is divided into five areas representing Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden through a variety of plants, trees and landscapes.

Art and Nordic mythology

In the centre of the park stands Jørgen Glud’s large N-shaped landmark, which symbolises the Nordic community. On your walk, you’ll also encounter stories and motifs from Nordic mythology, including Odin, Thor and Yggdrasil.

Part of the walk around Søndersø

Nordisk Park lies along the 5.6-kilometre route around Søndersø. The walk can be enjoyed on foot or by bike and combines nature, culture and views of the lake.
