Lake and lake bath Hinge Sø by Silkeborg
You'll find Hinge Sø in the tranquil countryside south of the town of Kjellerup near Silkeborg. Hinge Søbad is located in the northern part of the lake with a jetty, sandy beach, tables and benches, toilet facilities, two lean-to shelters, packed lunch house and campfire/grill area.
Around Hinge Lake, you’ll find charming and peaceful country lanes winding through the undulating glacial landscape, interspersed with quaint villages and farm communities from a bygone era. Enjoy the view of Vinderslevholm Manor, situated on a peninsula jutting out into the lake. The roads around the lake are ideal for lovely cycle rides.
Don’t forget to pack a picnic basket and your swimwear if you’re heading to Hinge Søbad, and make sure to set aside some time for a walk along Krabbes Grønne Ring in Kjellerup. In the evening, you can spend the night in one of the two shelters at Hinge Søbad.
