Handrup Church
Handrup Church is situated in Handrup Bakker near Ebeltoft Bay. The church was built after the local residents, in the late 19th century, expressed a desire for a church in the western part of the parish. The church was consecrated in January 1902 and had 100 seats at the time of its consecration.
Altarpiece, nave and organ
The church’s current altarpiece depicts Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. The painting was created by Professor Kræsten Iversen and came to the church in 1972. It is a preliminary study for a glass mosaic in Risskov Church.
