Viborg’s largest park

Digterparken was laid out in the 1950s and is now Viborg’s largest park. The undulating landscape features green lawns, mature trees, winding paths and Møllers Dam, which together provide the perfect setting for a peaceful stroll or a break in the countryside.

Fruit trees and varied natural surroundings

The park is home to many different trees and shrubs, as well as an orchard with a wide selection of apple and pear varieties. You are welcome to pick fruit, nuts and berries for your own use once they are ripe. Along the way, you can sit down on a bench and enjoy the view of the park’s green spaces.

Play areas for children of all ages

Digterparken has play areas for children of different ages. Here, they can climb, swing, balance and explore the play equipment. The poetry-inspired playground is based on books, words and pencils, and encourages play that engages both the body and the imagination.
