Green Key and specific environmental measures

Aarhus Hostel and Hotel is Green Key-certified. Among other things, the venue has solar panels, which cover a large proportion of the electricity consumption in day-to-day operations.

Rainwater is also collected and used, for example, in toilets and washing machines. In addition, there are water-saving features on taps and showers, as well as facilities for charging electric cars.

Cosy rooms

Aarhus Hostel and Hotel has 37 rooms for 1, 2 and 4 people. You can choose between hotel and hostel rooms.

The hotel rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Some of the hostel rooms have shared toilets and showers, whilst others have en-suite bathrooms.

Communal facilities

On the lower ground floor, you’ll find a lounge and dining room with a TV, as well as a guest kitchen which overnight guests are free to use. On the ground floor, there is another lounge with a TV and board games, as well as access to a conservatory.

There is also an activities room featuring, amongst other things, a pool table. Outdoors, you can try your hand at disc golf or make use of the other communal areas.

Guest kitchen

The guest kitchen on the lower ground floor has a shared fridge, hob and microwave. There is plenty of space to cook here, and the lounge and dining room are right next door.

Outdoor areas

Aarhus Hostel and Hotel is surrounded by green spaces with a barbecue, a fire pit and a disc golf course. The large lawn offers space for garden games, a picnic or a break in the fresh air. There are also terraces and table and bench sets in several places around the grounds.

In the nearby woodland, you’ll find a fire pit and a small lake. Here, you can take a break in peaceful surroundings or round off the day by the fire.
