Aarhus is a city with plenty of shopping opportunities, so it's good to be aware of how the shops are open.

On weekdays, most shops are open from 10:00 to 18:00, Friday 10:00 to 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 16:00, and the first and last Sunday of every month from 11:00 to 16:00.

However, shopping centres and food stores have different and somewhat longer opening hours:

Please note that retail stores are not allowed to open on public holidays. All other days of the year, shops are allowed to open.
