With a permanent base at one of Silkeborg's MTB-friendly accommodations, you can enjoy some of the country's best mountain bike trails.

In the forest Nordskoven you'll find blue, red and black trails. Local enthusiasts are constantly working to improve and maintain the trails. There are great singletracks, long climbs, chicken runs, berms and drops. And for those who are particularly adrenaline-hungry, the infamous descents Devil's Drop, Little Sister and Treedrop await.

The blue track in the forest Vesterskoven takes you around the beautiful hilly forest area south of Silkeborg. There are a few red loops with jumps, drops and rock gardens. One of the most entertaining sections is Denmark's longest descent with well-built berms and good flow.

Silkeborg is also home to a new Bikepark. Here you can enjoy four Bikepark tracks, a blue flow track, a blue jump track and a red and black track. Whatever your level, this is the place to be entertained, challenged and improve your technique.
