AURA Sommerbio invites you to enjoy open-air cinema in the unique surroundings of Moesgaard in Højbjerg. Here you can enjoy an atmospheric evening of film, fresh air and views of the area south of Aarhus.
The summer cinema combines the classic cinema experience with a different setting. The audience gathers outdoors as darkness falls, and the film is shown on the big screen.
The 2026 film programme
In 2026, AURA Summer Cinema will take place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August.
Friday 21 August: Frankenstein
A dark tale of a scientific experiment with serious consequences.
Saturday 22 August: Apocalypto
An intense drama about escape, freedom and survival during the final heyday of the Maya Empire.
