If you’re looking for extra comfort, you can book one of the cosy hotel cabins, which sleep up to 6 people. The cabins are fully equipped and have everything you need for a lovely mini-break.

You can also book a glamping tent accommodating up to 4 people – the perfect solution for those who want to experience nature up close without compromising on comfort and luxury.

You can also try one of the popular Isabella Camp-let units, which combine the camping experience with easy and comfortable accommodation.

Whatever you choose to stay in, Skyttehusets Camping provides the perfect setting for relaxation, nature experiences and lovely holiday memories.

Activities

There’s a wealth of options for wonderful holiday activities. Go for a swim in one of Denmark’s cleanest lakes, Slåensø, just a 15-minute walk from the campsite. Go fishing or hop aboard one of the Hjejle boats, whose jetty is just 100 metres from the campsite. There’s nothing better than spending a morning on a refreshing boat trip towards Himmelbjerget or Silkeborg town.

Hire a boat, kayak or SUP board

You can also hire canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, or rowing and motorboats for wonderful activities on the water. This offer is open to everyone, whether you’re a guest at the campsite or visiting from outside. You can book one of the many boats online.

Round off the day and enjoy a quiet moment at the campsite’s café, overlooking the gentle boat traffic on Svejbæksnævringen. In the café, you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner, or order breakfast for a great start to the day – it’s open every day of the week during the camping season.
