A beautiful and traditional experience, where employees from the town's shops walk in procession with candles and sing the classic Lucia song.
A luminous tradition in the town's streets
The procession starts at 4 p.m. in front of Guldsmed Mouritsens Eftf. on Østergade 2. From here, the participants make their way through the Christmas-decorated town centre, singing and spreading December cheer to young and old alike.
The route goes around the city centre and ends with a sing-along by the large Christmas tree in Torvet, where the Lucia procession becomes a natural highlight of the local Christmas season.
