Museum Østjylland Grenaa

The museum is partially open again.

You can visit the special exhibition “Away with the Trash,” which is aimed at families with children. The exhibition explores waste and wastewater from ancient times to the present day, because where there are people, there is also waste.

In addition, the “Earth” and “Lime” sections of the museum’s permanent exhibitions have reopened. You can also visit the museum shop.

The museum

The museum tells about the local history of Djursland and Mols and contains spectacular special collections. 

Visit Museum Østjylland in Grenaa in the town’s finest house with a new museum shop and easy access for the handicapped. See interesting ancient artefacts from Djursland and have an entirely special experience in the sound room ‘Grenaa by Ear’.

There is free entrance to all of the museum’s branches.
