The Rail Trail from Ebeltoft to Gravlev
Hop on your bike in Ebeltoft and ride past the wooden warship museum, Fregatten Jylland, and the Glass Museum. The car-free trail starts at Vibæk Skovvej behind Ebeltoft Park Hotel. From here, the route will take you towards the northwest through quite varying landscape.
You will go through woodland and past the back end of the wildlife park Ree Park Safari, where you might be lucky enough to spot some of the exotic wildlife through the fence.
The last part of the route will take you past the bird sanctuary by Djursland’ largest lake, Stubbe Sø. Here, you will find bird watching towers, picnic tables and benches, as well as toilet facilities. The rail trail between Ebeltoft and Gravlev is not tarmacked.
