A spring tradition for the whole family
Eco Day marks the day when organic dairy cows are put out to pasture again after the winter. It is a day full of life, movement and curious questions, where you can gain insight into how organic farming works in practice.
At the participating farms, you will be greeted by farmers who share their knowledge about animal welfare, ecology and everyday life on a modern organic farm.
Experiences on the farms
Eco Day is not just about cows grazing. In many places, you can also experience:
- Farm visits with the opportunity to see the stables
- Activities for children
- Information about organic milk production
- Tastings and small experiences related to the farm
The content varies from place to place, but common to all farms is a focus on openness and presence.
That's why Eco Day is something special
Eco Day gives you a rare opportunity to experience agriculture up close. The day creates an understanding of where food comes from and why organic animal welfare plays an important role.
