Moxy Aarhus is a new international hotel opening in Aarhus in 2027, offering modern rooms, social lounges and an international atmosphere in the heart of Aarhus - close to the railway station, shopping and city life.

Moxy Hotels to open in the heart of Aarhus in 2027
In the first quarter of 2027, Aarhus will welcome a new international hotel when Moxy Hotels opens in the Sydhavnskvarteret neighbourhood, close to Aarhus H and Bruuns Galleri. Here, modern design, social communal spaces and a central location will be the focal point for both travellers and locals.
The hotel is part of the Marriott chain and is operated by the Danish company Core Hospitality. With its location by Kulbroen, guests will have easy access to city life around the hotel and to the area’s shops, cultural attractions and public spaces.
Modern rooms and a lively lounge
Moxy Aarhus offers stylish and functional rooms designed to meet the needs of the modern traveller. Here, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere go hand in hand.
The hotel’s reception, bar and lounge are on the second floor, where guests also have access to a large outdoor terrace. Here, you can enjoy a drink, work or take in the city views from above.
The Moxy concept focuses on vibrant communal areas with space for both relaxation and socialising - for the hotel’s guests as well as for the people of Aarhus.
Local roots and an international hotel brand
The hotel is being developed by A. Enggaard and Core Hospitality, which operates several Moxy hotels in Scandinavia. Although Moxy is an international hotel brand, the hotel in Aarhus will be run with local roots.
Moxy Aarhus is aiming for the DGNB Gold and Green Key environmental certifications. These certifications are therefore part of the hotel’s commitment to sustainability.
