Explore Aarhus - in your own time

With the Hop On-Hop Off bus in Aarhus, you can experience the city from the front row and choose for yourself how long you want to stay at each stop. The bus stops at several of Aarhus’s famous sights, and you can hop on and off along the route whenever you want to explore the city in more detail.

The entire tour takes approximately 75 minutes, and on board you can follow along via an audio guide in Danish, English, German, Spanish, French and Italian. There is also free WiFi on the bus.

Attractions and neighbourhoods along the route

The route makes it easy to combine sightseeing with visits to some of Aarhus’s popular attractions. For example, hop off at Den Gamle By, ARoS, Marselisborg Castle, Aarhus Ø, Aarhus Cathedral or the Latin Quarter.

Along the way, you’ll experience city life, culture, architecture and views of the water. You can take a break in the historic streets, visit a museum, explore the harbour area or enjoy the green surroundings around Marselisborg and Mindeparken.

Sightseeing from the harbour

If you’re arriving in Aarhus by cruise ship, the Hop On-Hop Off bus is an easy way to get straight from the harbour and out into the city. The Hop On-Hop Off buses also stop at the cruise terminal.

When cruise ships call at Aarhus Harbour, the buses stop at the ship.
