Guided tour of Aarhus Theatre
Throughout the year, on selected days, there are public tours offering the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of Aarhus Theatre. Skilled tour guides recount the history of the building, its architecture and its decoration.
The tour takes you around the entire building – to the various theatre stages, the many workshops, the prop cellar, etc. There may be rehearsals on stage or in rehearsal rooms, busy workshops or other activities that mean the tour does not visit all stages and workshops. But you will undoubtedly have a different and exciting experience.
Aarhus Theatre's tours always start at the theatre's main staircase in Teatergaden and last approx. 75-90 minutes.
Please note: The tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties, as there are many stairs along the route.
