The Coast and Fjord Centre – experiences in the heart of nature
Throughout the summer, the Coast and Fjord Centre offers exciting activities for both children and adults through its Open Nature School concept. Here, visitors can explore nature, learn new things and enjoy unforgettable experiences by the coast and fjord.
Meetings and courses in scenic surroundings
In the midst of beautiful nature, two separate rooms are available for hire, perfect for meetings, courses or other gatherings. Both rooms are equipped with fine kitchens and internet access, providing a practical and inspiring setting.
Beach, play and fresh air
Just 500 metres from the centre is a lovely bathing beach – perfect for a refreshing dip after the day's activities. Right next door is a cosy nature playground where children can play outdoors.
Active nature communication and outdoor experiences
For the adventurous, the centre offers canoe trips on the Grenåen river, starting from Gasværksvej, and a scenic boat trip to Enslevgården. In addition, nature tours are organised on the beach, in the water wearing waders, for snorkelling, on the heath and in the plantation – all with a focus on experiencing nature up close.
