An active autumn holiday for the whole family

Fill the autumn holiday with movement and play at Active Holiday at DGI Huset Aarhus. Children and adults can enjoy a range of indoor activities together from Monday to Friday in week 42.

Climbing, gymnastics, ball games and a bouncy castle

Try climbing, explore the gymnastics hall or gather the family for a variety of ball games. Younger children can also have fun in the bouncy castle.

The activities give children of different ages the chance to move, play and try different forms of exercise together with the family.

Take a break in the café

When you need a break between activities, visit the café at DGI Huset. Here you can buy child-friendly food, while parents can enjoy free filter coffee and tea during Active Holiday.

Practical information

• Active Holiday takes place from Monday to Friday in week 42, 12-16 October 2026.
• Activities are open from 10:00 to 13:00.
• Admission can be purchased online or at the door. Once Active Holiday has started, admission is only available at the door.
• DGI Huset has 17 paid parking spaces on the east side of the building.
• Bruuns Galleri has a car park just a few steps from DGI Huset with a direct exit towards the building.
• Bicycle parking is available by the main entrance.
• Aarhus Central Station is approximately a two-minute walk away, and Aarhus Bus Station is approximately a five-minute walk away.
