Fishing Licences

Fishing in Gudenåen and the Silkeborg lakes requires a national as well as a local fishing licence. If you are between the ages of 18 and 67, you must always purchase a fishing licence before using your rod.

Fishing Licence

As a rule, all anglers between 18 and 67 years of age need a Danish Fishing Licence. Young people under 18 years of age do not need a fishing licence. The same is applicable for people over 67 years of age. Normally it does not require a licence to fish in Put & Take lakes, but consult the different locations before you arrive.

Fishcare

Did you know, that your payment of the fishing licence goes directly to fishcare and to preserve and recreate natural fish stocks in streams, lakes and costal areas?
