Tange Sø

Lake Tange Sø contains the species perch, pike, walleye, whitefish, eel, trout, bream and roach. There is a chance of catching burbot and tench.

Fishing in Denmark's largest hydroelectric lake

Tange Lake was constructed in 1918-21 and, with a depth of 10 metres and a width of 1 kilometre, is an impressive part of the River Gudenådalen. The lake offers exciting and varied fishing in historic and scenic surroundings.

Fishing from land and boat

Fishing is permitted both from land and boat, and there are particularly good chances of catching pike near reeds and headlands. The lake is also home to species such as brown trout, sea trout, salmon, zander, eel and roach. The great variety makes Tange Lake suitable for both new and experienced anglers.

Family-friendly fishing

Children under the age of 12 fish for free in the association's fishing waters, and children under the age of 16 can fish for free when accompanied by an adult with a day pass. Tange Lake is therefore an ideal place for a family outing with fishing rods and packed lunches.
