The Royal Danish Air Force Museum, Gedhusmuseum
The museum "Gedhusvagten" at the Royal Danish Air Force Station in Karup shows information about the emergence of the air station.
The museum has a collection of old equipment articles of the time of foundation of the Danish Defence and the Air Force in 1950.
In the museum you can see aircraft engines, catapult ejection seats, weapons and photos of the development of different time ages within the history of aircraft.
Practical information
- The Museum is open on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- The museum is closed during winter from November to March.
