New Year's Concert 2027 at Musikhuset Aarhus
Start the New Year with lively Viennese waltzes, radiant voices and a genuine New Year’s atmosphere, as the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and two captivating soloists fill the concert hall at Musikhuset Aarhus with exhilarating melodies and the splendour of opera.
A magnificent musical experience
New Year’s Eve is, of course, all about Viennese waltzes! That’s why we’ve opened the treasure trove of Viennese music and selected the most festive pieces. Sparkling waltzes and dazzling solo arias; the New Year’s concert will have you humming your way into the new year.
On stage, you’ll be treated to two delightful soloists: the dazzling soprano Yana Kleyn, whose career is currently soaring. She’ll be joined by the Danish tenor Peter Lodahl, who, after many years abroad (and in the conductor’s chair), has now once again devoted himself to his singing career in Denmark.
Together with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, these two wonderful singers will have the chance to let their hair down with the most festive music from the days when Vienna was the musical capital of the world.
