Long-table dinners in Den Gamle By in Aarhus

Every Tuesday in July, food enthusiasts from Aarhus host an evening of open-air long-table dining – with a new host and new dishes each time. Here you can enjoy superb food, music, drinks, a sense of community and wonderful surprises.

Part of Den Gamle By Night

The long-table dinners are part of Den Gamle By Night – where, throughout July, you can experience Den Gamle By during the long, light evenings with shops, bustling courtyards, music, food and a summer atmosphere.

Practical information

The summer evenings take place in July, and we recommend that you book a table in advance, as places are limited.

• The dinner will take place outdoors on Torvet in Den Gamle By, with arrival between 17.15 and 17.45.
• Please show your ticket and, if applicable, your annual pass or student card at the main entrance on arrival to receive a wristband granting you access to the long-table dinner.
• Your ticket is valid all day from 10.00 to 21.00.
• We recommend dressing for the weather.
• In the event of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors.
• Please note that you may be seated at either long tables or smaller tables for the communal meal.
