Lighthouse Tours at Anholt
Anholt Lighthouse is 42 meters high, and from here you have a fantastic view over the entire island. Join Anholt Lighthouse's friends for a tour of the tower, learn about the lighthouse and the island, and enjoy the beautiful nature.
With a guide to Anholt Lighthouse
The guided tours are arranged by "Anholt Lighthouse Friends," an association that manages the opening hours of the 1785-built, 42-meter-high lighthouse.
You can find opening days and times on notice boards on the island, on the Facebook page of Anholt Lighthouse Friends, or you can ask at the local tourist office when you arrive on Anholt. In the peak season from late June to mid-August, the lighthouse will be open twice a week, if possible.
Important Information
Please note that you can only reach the lighthouse by walking through the Desert or along the beach, which is a 7-10 km walk.
It is very important to be well prepared, as there is no drinking water, toilet, or garbage bin at Anholt Lighthouse.
