The Lake Julsø
Julsø is the largest out of the three Himmelbjerg-lakes near Silkeborg in Denmark, which also includes Borre Sø and Brassø.
The waters of Julsø reach from Laven to Svejbæk, meaning that the northern part of the lake is placed in the municipality of Silkeborg.
If you are in search of a good place to swim around Julsø, we recommend the public area around Ludvigslyst in Svejbæk. Here you can also watch as the tour boats pull up to the pier.
