At Gammel Estrup, Denmark’s Manor House Museum, you are invited to a knowledge fair where current research and new insights are brought to life amidst the historic surroundings. Here you will meet researchers and experts who share their insights into the culture, history and society of the manor house.
The event forms part of the museum’s work on research and outreach in collaboration with, amongst others, the Danish Centre for Manor House Research, which aims to disseminate knowledge about the significance of manor houses in Denmark and internationally.

The Knowledge Fair offers you the chance to get up close to research through presentations, dialogue and communication at eye level. You can learn more about topics such as the life of the nobility, the development of the manor house and the historical narratives that still shape the landscape today.
