Babulja

Babulja invites children and the young at heart to a lively concert experience at Musikhuset. The orchestra performs its own songs inspired by musical traditions from around the world – from Django and polka to reggae, Cuban and Brazilian rhythms, as well as jazz. With imaginative tales of pirates, elephants and the vast universe, a concert filled with music, warmth and smiles awaits both children and adults.

Blood Sweat Drum + Bass – 25th Anniversary Concert ft. Astrid Engberg

Blood Sweat Drum + Bass marks 25 years on stage with an anniversary concert during the Aarhus Jazz Festival 2026 – and this comes at a time when the orchestra is considered one of the most distinctive and innovative names on the Danish jazz scene.

Street parade

The 36th edition of the Aarhus Jazz Festival will be marked on opening day with jazz music filling the city’s streets, as the festive Aarhus Jazz Festival Brass Band, in keeping with tradition, marches through the city centre in a Street Parade.

Michel Camilo Quartet & Aarhus Jazz Orchestra

Michel Camilo is one of the most important musicians in recent jazz history. The Grammy, Emmy and multiple Latin Grammy winner combines the energy of Tito Puente with the sophisticated soundscapes of Bill Evans.
