Free live music in the heart of Viborg
Every Friday from 1 May to 2 October, from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm, you can enjoy free concerts at Hjultorvet in Viborg. The square is transformed into a vibrant music venue, offering a lively atmosphere, rhythms and music for anyone who fancies kicking off the weekend in the city.
The concert series features 23 free concerts with Danish musicians and bands spanning a wide range of styles and genres. The programme includes duos, trios, jazz, cover bands and well-known names.
Music programme at Hjultorvet
The programme features many Danish artists, including Michael Trier, Maria Montell Duo, Shubiforsjov, Jakob Sveistrup Duo, Tamra Rosanes Duo, HP Lange Trio, Tescha Quist Jazz Quintet, John Mogensen Live, Kates Jazzkitchen, Bamse Madsen and Funky Butts.
The concerts take place in the afternoon, allowing you to combine the musical experience with a stroll through Viborg’s pedestrian streets, a coffee break or an evening meal in town.
