Hotel Moxy Aarhus to open in 2026

Moxy Aarhus is a new international hotel opening in Aarhus in 2026, offering modern rooms, social lounges and an international atmosphere in the heart of Aarhus – close to the railway station, shopping and city life.

Moxy Hotels opens in the heart of Aarhus

In 2026, Aarhus will welcome a new international hotel when Moxy Hotels opens its doors in a burgeoning neighbourhood close to the main railway station and the city's largest shopping centre. With a focus on socialising, modern design and accessibility, Moxy Aarhus will be a natural choice for both travellers and locals.

The hotel is part of the Marriott chain and is operated by Danish Core Hospitality. With its location right next to Kulbroen – Aarhus' answer to New York's High Line – guests will have easy access to the lively urban space around the hotel and the new neighbourhood's shops, culture and community.

Modern rooms and lively lounge

Moxy Aarhus offers stylish and functional rooms tailored to the needs of modern travellers. Here, comfort and quality go hand in hand – without compromising on price.

The hotel's reception, bar and lounge are located on the second floor, where guests also have access to a large outdoor terrace. Here you can enjoy a drink, work or simply take in the city from above. The Moxy concept emphasises social common areas with atmosphere and entertainment – designed for both hotel guests and city residents.

Local roots, international quality

Behind the hotel are the developer A. Enggaard and Core Hospitality, which operates several Moxy hotels in Scandinavia. Despite the international brand, the hotel's operations are locally rooted, and there is a strong focus on sustainability.

Moxy Aarhus is aiming for environmental certifications such as DGNB Gold and Green Key, thus becoming part of the green transition in the city's hotel industry.

Practical information

Moxy Aarhus is expected to open in 2026. The hotel will be centrally located in Aarhus – close to the main railway station, Bruuns Galleri and the city's cultural life. Kulbroen connects the hotel with the surrounding urban space, and there will be good access to public transport and the city's other facilities.
