HomeExchange - home exchange in the Aarhus Region

Live like a local

With HomeExchange, you stay in another member’s home. Prepare a meal, explore the local neighbourhood and ask your host for tips on places to discover. Look for a home exchange in Aarhus, Silkeborg, Viborg, Randers, Favrskov or Djursland. Your choice of home depends on availability and the arrangements you make with individual members.

How HomeExchange works

HomeExchange connects people who open their homes to one another. You can arrange your stay in two ways:

• Reciprocal exchange: You stay in another member’s home, and they stay in yours. Your stays can take place at the same time or on different dates.
• GuestPoints: You receive GuestPoints when you host other members. You can then use these points to stay in another member’s home, without arranging a direct swap with the person you hosted.

In order to compete a home exchange, you need an annual membership to HomeExchange. You do not pay nightly rent to your host, although an agreed cleaning fee may apply.

Trust and guarantees

Members must verify their identity and home address before finalising an exchange. You can read reviews written by other members after their exchanges, and you agree and confirm the exchange details through the HomeExchange platform. HomeExchange's support team is also available throughout your stay.

Practical information

• Membership: You need an active annual HomeExchange membership to finalise an exchange and during your stay.
• Dates and arrival: Agree your travel dates and exchange details with the host and confirm the exchange through HomeExchange.
