Hiking trail at Vestereng in Aarhus
The country route starts at the car park by the road up to Vestereng on Bodøvej in northern Aarhus. The route goes through the forest in the old military area, past Aarhus University Hospital, Skejby, to the outskirts of the village of Gl. Skejby.
Varying surface
Here, the route follows the outermost plough furrows on the farmers’ fields when it connects with the so-called Spor/track in the landscape, respectively the Spor/track by Nymølle and the Spor/track by Kasted.
An off road route
The tour passes Nymølle and takes you via the village of Kasted to Kasted Mose/Bog and back. The route is mostly off road and therefore only suitable for walking.
