Full moon night at the Planetarium in Aarhus

In the Planetarium at the Steno Museum in Aarhus, once a month you can learn more about the stars, the moon and the many myths and legends that exist about our space. The programme changes from time to time.

Full moon night in the Planetarium

Experience a fantastic full moon night in the Planetarium. Join us for ‘Mars in the winter sky’, ‘The hunt for Planet 9’, ‘Black holes and the theory of time and space’ and much more.

Read more about the themes and see which dates you can experience a Full Moon Night here.

Get there early - it sells out fast!

Seating is limited, so buy your ticket early. The exhibitions open at 19:00 and there will be an opportunity to explore on your own beforehand. All events start at 20:00. It is possible to buy a glass of wine or water. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Sometimes you can hear stories under the stars, other times you can learn about astronomy and space exploration or legends and myths about the constellations. Tickets cost 70 kr.

All full moon evenings end with an atmosphere under the stars.
