An exhibition with problems you know

A close observer of the human condition, Boghiguian examines the consequences of historical, economic, and political events. From a personal perspective she draws on the past and present, poetry and politics to playfully critique the modern world.

A key work in the exhibition The Square, the Line and the Ruler – Ambiguous Philosophers / Ambiguous Politicians (2019) consists of a large chess-inspired power play with decision makers and intellectual figures such as Einstein, Queen Victoria, Churchill, Mandela, Putin and others who bear witness to revolutionary upheaval, but also to power and destruction. Prepare yourself for this thought provoking, poetic, and timely exhibition.

The exhibition will also include a brand-new work that speaks directly to the urgency of the climate and ecological crisis.
