The Danish Missionary Society was founded in 1888 by a number of free churches from across the country. The Missionary Society can be briefly characterised by three words: Faith, Life and Community. It was founded in Aalborg in 1888 and has its roots in the religious revivals of the 19th century.
Saralyst Church was formed in 2005 through the merger of two free churches, which previously constituted Saron Church (Danish Missionary Society) and Højbjerg Free Church (God's Congregation). Today, the church is still affiliated with the Danish Missionary Society, but also has close ties to Gemeinde Gottes, God's Congregation in Germany.
Saralystkirken regularly organises events with a focus on the local community. See more.
