A festival created for children

BørnefestiBAL is a nationwide children’s festival that has been creating experiences for families across Denmark since 2015. In Aarhus, the festival invites you to a day where children take centre stage, and where music, play and community go hand in hand.

Every year, the festival brings together thousands of children and adults for an experience that combines concerts, activities and creative expression in a safe environment.

Music, shows and experiences at eye level

On stage, you can enjoy concerts and performances featuring both well-known characters and new talents. The programme is designed so that children can sing along, dance and actively participate in the experience. You’ll be able to see Arne Alliigator, Kreabix live, Paw Patrol, Kalle B, Jungle Jim, Lille Tut and more.

In addition, the day offers:

Live music and child-friendly shows
Meet-and-greets with characters and artists
Dancing, singing and group activities
Entertainment aimed particularly at children aged 2–8
Play, creativity and activities

Across the festival site, you’ll find a wealth of activities that stimulate children’s imagination and energy. Here, you can explore creative workshops, try face painting or let off steam in bouncy castles and play areas.

The festival is designed as a space where children can let their hair down and where the whole family can share wonderful experiences together.

Food and breaks along the way

When hunger strikes, you’ll find various food stalls offering child-friendly dishes and snacks. The area is laid out to allow for breaks and cosy moments between activities.
