Aarhus Court Detention House
The Aarhus Court Detention House in Vester Allé 10 was completed in 1906. The building was designed by the architects K A Ludvigsen and Julius Hansen who won the architectural competition held by the municipality in 1903.

The most significant decorative details were created by the artist K Hansen-Reistrup, including the two bronze lions standing at each corner of the wings.
