It is quick and easy to register as a ReThinker volunteer.
Once you are registered as a volunteer, you will start receiving the ReThinker newsletter (remember to sign up for the English newsletter by ticking the box next to Information in English on the signup form). In the newsletter you can read more about upcoming volunteer activities, arrangements and field trips open for your participation.
The most important requirement is that you have the interest and energy to be a ReThinker volunteer. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, and you get to decide what tasks for which you sign up.Some of the tasks have special requirements, but we are happy to help match you to the right jobs based on your interests and skills.
It is entirely up to you how often and how much of your time you would like to give as a volunteer. There may be periods where you are very active and other times where you are less involved. It also depends on which events you register for as some tasks are only for a few hours and others that stretch over a longer period of time.
The Danish Immigration Service has made an overview of the specific rights to participate in voluntary work in Denmark according to the Aliens Act. The overview lists specific types of basis for residence and should only be viewed as guidelines.
