Creative winter break with art, play and fun for the whole family
During the winter break, Godsbanen invites you to a free, creative and playful family programme in the heart of Aarhus. The programme is based on the thought-provoking exhibition Your Cards Are Bleeding by artist Kåre Frang, which fills Rå Hal with colourful sculptures, moving boxes and a secret room with film works that explore what it means to move in life – both physically and mentally. The exhibition can be experienced until 8 March 2026.
The exhibition's universe for children and adults
Your Cards Are Bleeding is more than an exhibition – it is a space for reflection and experience for all ages. Large, colourful figures made from old toys and a dark, secret room create a sensory narrative about change, movement and awareness in a world in constant flux.
Fun winter holiday activities
During the winter holiday week, Godsbanen offers a range of activities that make the visit extra exciting for children and adults alike:
- Treasure hunt: Explore the building with a treasure hunt and audio walk – pick up a task sheet at the ticket office in the foyer and find hidden clues, stories and surprises.
- Competition in the exhibition: Gather the whole family for tasks in Your Cards Are Bleeding and take part in the draw for a brunch for the whole family in Restaurant GODS.
- Shrove Sunday on 15 February: Hit the cat off the barrel in the foyer – a fun Shrove Sunday party for children.
In addition, you can enjoy creative play, treasure hunts and fun throughout the house – and perhaps combine your visit with a delicious brunch or dinner at Restaurant GODS.
